This logo was for my (now ex-)girlfriend, who was starting her own business. She practices in alternative therapies for horses and other animals, and wanted a unique, distinctive logo. She wanted to achieve a balance between being viewed as a professional practitioner of alternative therapies and not as a new-age hippy (Her words, not mine). To achieve this, I spent a great deal of time discussing her business and what she wants to project with her image. As the name implies, she wanted to stress the importance of balance in her work, on many different levels. Thus I created this logo which portrays the balance between Sun and Moon, Night and Day. The spheres orbiting the moon symbolize the seven Chakras which are present in all living things, and also help to balance out the graphic visually.   <-- Back to my logo portfolio.
