The Desert Bakery & Pastries is a Calgary-based business that was seeking a logo in conjunction with a new product launch. Given that the name 'Desert' does not provide mental images of tasty pastries, I tried to improve the word by dressing it up in a beautiful gold display. The client wished for an image of desert travellers, and thus the photo in the center of the logo. Please also note the tents to the right and left of the logo, further serving to add a richness to the logo as well increase the mental imagery summoned by the logo.
