A university assignment: Using Adobe Illustrator, create an image suitable for use on a Canadian postage stamp. We were given this project not long after the horrific on-track accident which claimed Canadian driver (and BC boy at that) Greg Moore's life. I still remember watching that race on television, staring with absolute disbelief. The incident moved me as I was not only a racing fan, but admired Greg as a person. I thought it important that he be remembered, and thought it very appropriate to design a stamp remembering his life. Curiously enough, the drawing of Greg took much longer than that of his car, which was the opposite of what I'd been expecting.   <-- Back to the drawing page.
