I drew this sketch on my birthday in 2006. Took the day off work, took myself out and enjoyed the day just appreciating life. This sketch came to me while sitting in a nice little coffee shop I'd wanted to go to since I moved to Calgary, but hadn't ever allowed myself the time to. I'd been drawing the Joker in the "animated series" style for a while, or as he appeared in the comics, and I just wanted to flesh him out in my own style. It was a great birthday. Wrote a little, drew a little, then spent the evening indulging in other "creative" ways of smiling.   <-- Back to the drawing page.
