Stand so close

why
do you have to stand so close
much closer than most
i don't know you
you're making me want to
breath of your smell enchants my nose
tiniest smile and you curl your toes
all i see is the smile on your lips
i'm dying to trace with my fingertips
i'm lost in the waves of your hair
what is all this, it's entirely unfair
so you lean closer in those tight blue jeans
happy to torture me by any means
with that innocent smile like you don't know
if i'd only say hi, all the places we'd go
if i was anyone else, i probably would
enough of these wishes, they don't do much good
all politeness aside, i'll play your game
one last shy smile, and nothing's the same
your eyes so foreign, filled with promise
don't speak, let's start with a kiss
i can't remember my plans for today
you filled my head, blew them away
and i thought i'd die when you touched my leg
i can tell by your smile, you want us both to beg
and plead, scream, scratch, bite
no promises of anything beyond tonight
you'll be the best i've ever had
and i the taste you crave so bad
the reason you wake from your dreams so wet
hips still moving, half wishing you could forget
the way we burned, you let me complete you
when you gave me no choice, forced me to meet you
you never said hi, only stood so close
we're still strangers, only closer than most.
